Hello Students and Parents!!!
We hope that your home schooling is going great so far and you have been able to use the art supplies that we sent home to you all. Listed below are some websites and new art projects for you to explore. We will be sending home packets with more supplies and we tried to include projects that might use items that you already have at home. The projects will also include some art history and exploration of some master artists. Please feel free to search more information about these artists and others that you find interesting. It is always a good idea to have an adult preview the videos and images before student viewing. Please send photos of finished projects and let us know what you have learned and created!!

1. Circle template- Different sizes of lids
2. Markers
3. Paper
4. Ruler
Instructions:
Draw overlapping circles lightly using a pencil. Each circle should have a smaller circle inside to make a donut shape. Add repeating lines in donut shape and repeating circles in some centers. Remember to use bold and thin lines to create variety. You may also add color to the circles for more contrast. Trace over pencil lines with sharpie.

One of my favorite artists is Wayne Theibaud. He is a Pop artist who painted wonderful cakes, gumballs, pies and anything delicious. He used color, repetition and textures to make the food look sooo real. Can you draw and color your favorite food? Send me a photo of your art when you finish your drawing.
